CS Namwamba’s former wife Prisca Mwaro found dead in Nairobi house

Prisca Mwaro, former wife to Sports, Arts and Culture Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has died.
Multiple reports indicate that Mwaro, who had since parted ways with Namwamba was found dead in her house in Nairobi on March 8, 2023.
A family source quoted by the Standard says the body has already been moved to MP Shah Hospital mortuary, even as it seeks to find out the cause of her sudden death.
“We’re still seeking to establish what led to the death of our loved one, Prisca. We are yet to get answers for quite a number of questions,” a family source that sought anonymity told the Standard.
Another source also revealed that Mwaro had gone through a lot since parting ways with the Sports CS.
The two were married between 2015 and 2018. They had three children.
“She might have given up the fight,” a close friend to the deceased said. Mwaro and Namwamba ended their relationship after what is believed to have been marital problems.
Reports of Prisca Mwaro’s death come barely a day after she celebrated her birthday on March 7, 2023.
She once worked at the Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen).
The deceased hails from Port Victoria in Bunyala West Ward, Busia – the home county of the Sports CS.
Further, Mwaro did her degree between 2013 and 2015 at the University of Nairobi where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Human Resources).
Namwamba once in a while posts videos of her children on social media pages.
So far, Namwamba has not yet posted anything related to the death of her former wife. Police are now expected to probe the incident in an effort to find out the cause of Mwaro’s death.
