Data Protection Commissioner seeking to recruit 36 new staff – How to apply

The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner has announced 36 job vacancies.
In a notice published on its verified Twitter handle, the office established under the Data Protection Act 2019 says they are seeking to recruit new staff to enhance its human capital requirements to deliver on its mandate.
Data Protection Commissioner is a state office mandated to among others regulate the processing of personal data, protect the privacy of individuals and establish a legal and institutional mechanism to protect personal data.
Among the vacancies that the office seeks to fill include;
– Assistant Data Commissioners
– Senior Principal Cooperate Communications Officer
– Principal Data Commissioners in charge of the eight regions
– Accountants
– Supply Chain Management Officers
– Assistant Office Administrator
– Assistant Records Management Officer
– Office Assistant.
How to apply
Individuals interested in applying for any of the listed vacancies can submit their applications through the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) portal.
“VACANCIES: The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner is seeking to recruit 36 new staff. Interested candidates can access detailed job descriptions and experience required for the positions from the ODPC recruitment portal – http://recruitment.odpc.go.ke,” the State Office posted on their Twitter handle on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Dateline for the applications is October 26, 2022.
Only applications through the ODPC jobs portal are allowed.
“Please note that manual or any other form of application shall not be accepted,” read part of the notice announcing the vacancy.
