Edday to Samidoh: I will not raise my kids in a polygamous family

By Peter Ochieng

Mugithi star Samidoh’s wife, Edday Nderitu says she has had enough from the musician.

In a long post shared on social media on Friday, 24th February, 2023, Nderitu said the musician has humiliated her over and over again, pushing her to the edge.

She says despite being faithful, Samidoh has taken her through the rough path of pain, the past three years being the most unbearable.

“It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and downs, it was humble beginning where little was enough for us, for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithfull to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation and being trolled on social media, you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted,” she lamented.

She said she will not raise her kids in a polygamous family. Samidoh has sired kids with nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.

“I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect to my family,” added Edday.

Her post came shortly after Nyamu shared photos of her and Samidah attending a burial in Murang’a County.

The two were all smiles for the camera.

In December, 2022, Edday confronted Nyamu after she tried to move closer to Samidoh during a concert in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On December 18, two days after the scuffle, the Senator declared that she had ended her relationship with the Mugithi singer.

She has previously stated that she is not a home breaker.

“The only thing I have a problem with is people thinking I am a homewrecker – that I was doing things to compete with the wife and all that.”

Nyamu is a UDA party-nominated Senator.
