Ezekiel Mutua reconciles with Mulamwah, gifts him Ksh20,000

Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has quashed his longstanding feud with Comedian David Oyando popularly known as Kendrick Mulamwah.
Taking to social media, the comedian revealed that the two mended fences while attending the Marwa Music Awards at Nairobi Cinema.
“Yesterday we met with Dr @EzekielMutua, we spoke and squared our differences,” Mulamwah wrote on Twitter adding that they are now “best pals”.

The comedian thanked Mutua for his contribution to the local music industry since his appointment as MCSK CEO.
“Hatchet buried. Looking forward to working with MCSK in the near future as promised. Asante bro,” Mulamwah added.
Ezekiel Mutua also confirmed that the two had reconciled through a handshake at the event.
The two had been beefing since mid-2021 when Mulamwah called out Mutua on Twitter for failing to honour a promise to appoint him as one of the Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) clean content ambassadors while he was CEO.
“Hello sir, @EzekielMutua, it’s almost a year since your promise, did you mean it or you were just tweeting for the moment, or am I ‘inaccessible?’ If the GVT cannot help us as youth, then please don’t instil false hope in us, it’s better you leave us to suffer in peace,” Mulamwah tweeted at the time.
In response, Mutua said that helping the comedian was an individual and personal choice. He added that further investigation by KFCB had proved that Mulamwah was unfit for a clean content ambassador.
