Constitutional lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has advised President William Ruto to consider reorganizing his administration.

Ahmednasir argues that the current government formed about two years ago is only serving the interests of UDA.

In a post on his X handle, the Senior Counsel said it was time Ruto put togwther a government that reflects the face of Kenya.

“President @WilliamsRuto needs to dismiss his UDA government and form a GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL UNITY, accommodating all Kenyans,’ Ahmednasir said on Monday.

His advise comes at a time the President is facing protests from a section of Kenyans – a majority of who ate the youths.

The protests have already seen him drop the contentious 2024 Finance Bill.

In a televised interview on Sunday night, Ruto said withdrawing the bill had taken the country two steps back.

He noted that his administration might be forced to borrow at least Ksh10 trillion to finance the deficit that will come with thd new reality.

He also said most government offices and commissions will have to reallign their budget with new austerity measures to ensure government operations are not crippled.

However, the President admitted that his team might have failed in clearly communicating to Kenyans on their impact and importance of their proposed bill.

He has agreed to have a conversation with the youth to address the issues being raised.
