Kenyan Sociolite and Enterprenuer Alhuda Sonie Njoroge alias Huddah Monroe has on instagram posted a Ksh.999,000 Cash cheque she has been paid by a City club to appear for two hours.
The Socialite revealed that the Club Called Gemini Bistro paid her an enormous amount only to host herself at the club on Sunday.
“Got my Cheque from Gimini, See you on Sunday,” The Socialite said.
In a recent post, the socialite revealed that she can only host a club in Kenya if it pays her $10,000 per 2 hours.
“Y’all remember I said I can only Host a club in Kenya if they pay $ 10,000 min.2hrs? yazzzz! Sit back and wait for the location.!” she posted.
Kenyan Celebrities have been bragging rate cards on the amounts they charge to advertise brands and clubs. Musician Willy Paul had in November last year revealed that he charges Ksh.300,000 for appearing in a club without doing anything, 600,000 for club performance,200,000 to post stories, 500,000 t0 post on feeds, Ksh. 30 million for brand endorsements, and 1.5 million for main events.
Nightclubs and casinos will go as far as paying celebrities huge amounts of cash to make appearances which in turn attracts clients and customers and grows their publicity due to the large audience celebrities command on social media.
