2023 /24 Premier league Season , Biggest winners and Losers

A premier league round up on Sunday saw Manchester city crowned premier league champions for a record fourth straight season as they won 3-1 at West Ham gaining 91 points two ahead of Arsenal who won 2-1 against Everton at Home.

It was a fair run for Mikel Arteta’s boys who despite not winning the Premier league title, were able to secure a chance to play in the UEFA champions league for the second straight season.

Arteta’s who finished second in the previous season behind pep Guardiola sent a warm message to Arsenal fans thanking them for the incredible support while he promised much better ahead of the next season.

In an Emotional farewell, Jurgen Klopp couldn’t hide his passion and love for Liverpool as he sent his tradition blows to the air for Liverpool fans waving goodbye to the German international who will be parting ways after more than eighth Sucessful seasons.

Mauricio Pochettino’s boys have been one of the most in form teams at the close of the season winning their last five matches and displaying spectacular talent with the likes of Teenage sensation Cole Palmer who was recently voted the 2023 /24 Premier League Young player of the season scoring 22 Goals and 10 assists.

Palmer stood out as one of the most Outstanding players of the season.

Chelsea’s hopes of featuring in next seasons UEFA Europa League lie in the hands of Manchester city’s FA Cup victory against Manchester united which will see them clinch a direct qualification to the Europa League leaving their conference league spot for seventh Placed Newcastle United.

Meanwhile, Manchester united missed out on European qualification despite their 2-0 victory to Brighton and will only qualify for the Europa League if they manage to beat Derby Rivals Manchester city in the FA Cup Final later this month.

The 2023/24 Premier League Round up saw Manchester City’s Erling Haaland win rhe Golden Boot award leading the scoring charts with 27 goals, five ahead of former Teammate Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, while Arsenal’s David Raya won the Golden gloves.

Phil Foden was named the EA Sports Premier league player of the season while Manchester united’s Alejandro Garnacho Bicycle Kick won the goal of the season.

Last Season’s Championship promoted sides Sheffield United, Luton Town and Burnley could not sustain the heat of the Premier league forcing them back into the championship while 2016 Premier league champions Leicester City will be making a comeback into the 2024/25 Premier league season after winning the Championship race alongside Ipswich Town who finished second.

The Playoffs Finals between Southampton and Leeds united will decide who will be the third promoted side into the Premier league.
