In a tragic turn of events, Marco Troper, the 19-year-old son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki, has been confirmed to have died from an acute combined drug toxicity, according to the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau.
The autopsy report disclosed that Troper had high concentrations of alprazolam, cocaine, amphetamine, and hydroxyzine in his system, leading to what authorities have classified as an accidental overdose.
Marco Troper was found unresponsive in his dormitory on February 13. Emergency responders pronounced him dead shortly thereafter.
The coroner’s findings corroborate earlier statements made by his grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, who had previously indicated that the family was aware Marco had died from a drug overdose.
