A girl who stole the show due to her mastery in poetry has finally been admitted to her new school.
The girl, Princess Angel performed during an event attended by President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua in Nakuru a fortnight ago.
DP Gachagua noticed her talent and prowess leading to an invitation to the official residence of the Deputy President in Karen last week together with her mother.
It’s after the breakfast meeting that the second in command offered to cater for Angles’ education.
“Princess Angel is a talented, bold and sharp young girl who wowed President William Samoei Ruto and I, with her profuse, profound prowess in poetry, mastery of English and Swahili, and sweet soothing refined rendition skills during the Akurinu National Prayers Conference at Nakuru Boys High School,” the DP said in a post on X.
“I will take care of her education needs until she becomes the heavy weight Lawyer she desires to be,” he added.
On Monday, DP Gachagua revealed that the 11-year-old had been finally admitted to Utawala Academy in Nairobi.He shared photos of the young girl getting admitted at the school.
“It was an exciting afternoon as Princess Angel joined Utawala Academy, Nairobi, today,” the DP said.
“A gifted and brilliant poet, Princess has opened a new chapter in achieving her dream of becoming a heavyweight lawyer. We wish the little Princess the very best in her studies,” he added.
The girl will now be studying at the prestigious academy courtesy of the support of the Deputy President.
