England national team coach, Gareth Southgate has named a 33-man provisional squad, ahead of the Euro 2024 edition. German will host the tournament, from June 14 to July 14.
The first big name to miss out is Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling. The winger misses a major international tournament for the first time since 2012.
Former Liverpool captain Henderson who features for Ajax in Holland has also been left out of the Three Lion’s team for the first time, since 2010.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford who has blown hot and cold for the Red Devils in the just concluded season, was also left out.
Here is the provisional squad:

The squad will however be narrowed down to 26 players by June 7, meaning over five players are still not sure of their Euro chances.
England will open their quest for European Championship glory against Serbia on June 16, in the first match of group C.
The Three Lions will then go on to face Denmark and Slovenia.
Gareth Southgate is hoping that his side will lift the European title at the second time of asking, after losing the 2020 final to Italy via penalties, at the Wembley Stadium.
