The draw for the 2023/2024 Chapa Dimba national finals is out.
Kisumu will host this year’s finals at the Moi Stadium, and the Jomo Kenyatta International Sports Stadium, from Thursday to Sunday next week.
The tournament which is in its fourth edition, witnessed over 3000 teams from eight regions across the country participating, starting from the ward level, county finals, intercounty playoffs and regional finals.
A total of 16 teams, 8 for boys and 8 for girls will be vying for national honours in both categories.
The teams in the boys’ category are: Obunga FC (Nyanza), Lysa FC (Central), Bandari Youth (Coast), Wajir All Stars (North Eastern), PASC Langa (Rift Valley), Young Kings (Nairobi), Ebwali FC (Western) and Chuka University Scorpions (Eastern).
The girls’ category brings together former national champions, Plateau Queens (Nyanza), Changamwe Ladies (Coast), Brenda Girls (Western), Syomunyu Secondary (Eastern), Dagoretti Mixed (Nairobi), Wiyeta Girls (Rift Valley), Barcelona Ladies (Central) and Wajir Queens (North Eastern).
According to the draw conducted today, fans should look foward to mouth watering clashes.

Kenyatta stadium in Mamboleo will host the semifinals on Friday and Saturday, followed by the finals on Sunday.
The winning teams in the national finals, in both categories will walk away with Sh1 million in cash, while the runners-up and second runners-up will receive Sh500,000 and Sh250,000, respectively.
Additionally, each player, both winners, runners-up, and second runners-up, will receive Neon Smartphones, the first locally assembled 4G smartphone in Kenya.
Outstanding players, including the Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, and Most Valuable Player (boys and girls), will each receive Sh50,000.
