Police in Rangwe Sub County are investigating an incident where a student was found dead in a toilet at Orero Boys High school on Tuesday.
The Form-four learner was found dead by fellow students in what is suspected to be a case of suicide.
County Police Commander Samson Kinne said they did not find any suicide note at the scene.
He however said the boy had earlier spoken with his parents using his class teacher’s phone.
“We are not sure what they discussed with the parents but we will soon establish what their conversation was about,” Kinne said.
According to Genga Location Chief Andrew Okambo, the matter was reported to authorities on Tuesday morning after other students found the body.
By the time he died, the student was still wearing slippers.
The body of the deceased was taken out of the toilet and taken to the mortuary by police.
