He had unsuccessfully vied for the Busia gubernatorial seat in 2017.

Previously, Otuoma served as a Funyula Member of Parliament.

Raila meets Limuru III organizers

Later in the day, Raila met with Limuru III conference organizers.

In an update on his verified X handle, the Azimio leader said the meeting provided an opportunity for the organizers to give him a full report of the meeting.

Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua and Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni were among the organizers of the event that brought together several leaders from the Mount Kenya region allied to the Azimio coalition.

“I met with the Limuru 3 conference organizers. They gave a full status report of the event’s significant discussions and resolutions. We committed to continue working together to benefit Kenya and all Kenyans,” Raila said in part of the post.

“I believe these deliberations will eventually help bridge gaps and enhance devolution in this country. 35% revenue share for counties is still our minimum,” he added.
