A middle aged man has this morning been arrested after he was found in possession of 417 grams of cocaine hidden in his shoe soles.
The suspect Charles Obaga Kavehere arrested was ejected from a bus heading to Nairobi from Moyale and thoroughly searched where the illegal drugs were discovered.
The 24-year old was later taken to the Jomo Kenyatta Intn’l Airport (JKIA) for further screening within his person upon which more drugs were discovered in his system taken through ingestion.
The total value of the drugs is estimate at about sh 1.8 million street worth.
Kavehere is currently in the custody of JKIA-ANU officers pending egestion of the swallowed sachets and further legal procedures.
