DPP Clarifies on Missing Arror, Kimwarer Dams Court File

DPP Clarifies on Missing Arror, Kimwarer Dams Court File

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji has cleared the air over the alleged Kimwarer Arror dams court file .

The DPP dismissed claims that the file was missing in a statement dated Thursday ,September 23, 2021. According to Haji ,there was indeed a missing file which was in no way connected to the Kimwarer Arror case.

“The only missing file in the case relates to an application filed in the High Court by CMC Di Ravenna companies and their directors,” read part of the statement .

The statement signed by Senior Assistant DPP, Alexander Muteti, came in handy to shed some light after a miss-reporting from a local newspaper ,with the DPP’S office confirming to have responded to the matter.

He further confirmed that the missing file, which was indeed a court file, had since been recovered.

The DPP confirmed that the file was ready and was being prepared to prosecute the case involving the two dams in court once everything is ready.

“We are ready to prosecute at the earliest opportunity as and when the date is set for hearing,” the statement added.

Confirming beyond any reasonable doubt, Muteti said that the file was already at the courts registry and that the information issues earlier by a local newspaper was meant to mislead the public.
