Wilbroda Narrates How Entertaining Relatives Ruined Her Marriage

Jacque Nyaminde popularly known as Wilbroda has opened up on some of the things that led to her failed marriage. The seasoned actress cum radio presenter was speaking to Buzz central on YouTube when she made the revelation.

The actress said that she contributed to the failing of the relationship citing things that she least expected to be contributors to the same – relatives.

“I also contributed to the breakup. I think one thing that contributed to our breakup was that I was with my relatives all the time. My sisters were always at my house, I didn’t see a big deal with it until later on after we broke up, he mentioned it to his friend,” she said.

“I didn’t see that. Looking at it now I am like, I contributed to their coming. I went overboard. I enjoyed their company but it cost me,” she added.

Wilbroda noted that she now doesn’t entertain visitors in her home, including relatives, citing that every person need to preserve their personal space.

“I no longer entertain visitors even my relatives. People need their personal space,” she said.

The media personality who recently moved from royal media services to a media max station said that she did not wait for her then husband to assult her, instead, she started planning her exit.

“I acted immediately and started planning for myself”, she said.

During the interview, Wilbroda disclosed that they were co parenting, which she admitted is not easy.

She proceeded to share about a pregnancy she lost eight years ago on Mother’s Day, revealing how troubled she was and how she got to overcome the grief.

“I was so excited about the other pregnancy but at three months I lost it. I was angry and lost for some time since the moment you know you are pregnant, a lot of things happens. There was a lot of attachment with my baby. I had even given my baby a name. I used to call her ‘Atis’,” she stated.

She says she resorted to prayers to heal the grief of her baby girl who would have turned eight this year.

“I had prayed for the baby. I got to the house and my sisters would call to ask about the pregnancy. I prayed about it after the loss and that is how I overcame the loss,” she added.

She also talked about her passion for acting and afro fusion type of music, revealing that she had worked with big artists like Erick Wainaina before her fame.
